Enovational is a fast growing technology startup building web and mobile applications. We specialize in delivering award-winning user experiences paired with cutting edge technology, as both client solutions and our own consumer products. We believe our successes come from our teamwork and mutual respect for each other’s talents and unique perspectives.

So when we say we are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst, yes, we want someone with extensive technical knowledge, a passion for working collaboratively, and the ability to advise and support a team through complex technical requirements, but we also need another team member who will do what it takes to help us shape amazing products.

  • Provide internal client service, serving as lead and point of contact for technical analysis initiatives and solutions for projects.

  • Assess the technical needs of a project throughout its lifecycle, and support key technical decisions about the solutions to be implemented.

  • Turn technical needs into user stories and other key documentation, so that developers can successfully implement.

  • Plan for and oversee integration and data migration needs throughout a project’s lifecycle.

  • Provide deep and thorough review of client requirements, in support of team recommendations, as well as solutioning and product development

  • Ensure quality artifacts such as process maps, data flow maps, system architecture diagrams, data migration plans, and wireframes to communicate interface with our team and clients.

  • Interface with teams about upcoming tasks, as well as to explore challenges and opportunities for improvement in existing processes and solutions.

  • Foster collaboration with analysts, designers, and/or developers on research activities, strategy sessions, ideation, design, and product testing.

  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions with our team and clients to help us find balance between user wants, client needs, technical level of effort, and timelines.

  • Advise our teams on proper tooling and software to support various project needs.

  • Guide and coach other technical analysts.

  • Are a perpetual learner and excited to learn about and try out new technologies, processes, and ideas.

  • Use your problem-solving and critical thinking skills to question assumptions and find better ways to work and communicate.

  • Try to put yourself in other people’s shoes so you can identify and understand their biggest pain points and greatest delights.

  • Truly believe in finding the right tool for the right problem, and carefully examine your options before choosing.

  • Are genuinely passionate about what you do. You are a perpetual learner and excited to experiment with new tools, processes, methods, and ideas.

  • Take initiative, aren’t afraid to fail, ask thoughtful questions, and constantly seek better ways of working and communicating.

  • Have a positive yet practical attitude. You are willing to take on any task that might help take one of our products a little further.

  • Want to focus on system requirements without diving into process re-engineering.

  • Are not comfortable with showing unfinished work to peers, users, or clients in order to discuss approach and get feedback.

  • Prefer owning a project individually rather than working collaboratively.

  • Aren't comfortable working directly with clients and users, and not willing to travel to Maryland or D.C. to meet with them in person.

  • Work better in structured environments or have trouble with ambiguity and uncertainty.

Candidates for this position will have at least 5 years of experience working in an agile environment. We are also looking for individuals with a strong business and technical analysis background and a demonstrated ability to learn and explain new tools quickly.  Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
