Enovational is a fast growing technology startup building web and mobile applications. We specialize in delivering award-winning user experiences paired with cutting edge technology, as both client solutions and our own consumer products. We believe our successes come from our teamwork and mutual respect for each other’s talents and unique perspectives.

This is an entry-level position into our product management career track. Learn how to work with developers and designers in an agile environment to help drive new features within our product offerings. Become an expert in our product and domain, and be able to champion our software throughout the larger company and with our stakeholders.

What does a product manager career entail? A product manager is the person who identifies the customer need and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill, articulates what success looks like for a product, and rallies a cross-functional team to turn that vision into a reality. Product managers channel information between stakeholders, balancing the tradeoffs between UX, technology, and business.

So when we say we are looking for a Product Assistant, yes, we are looking for a professional with an interest in product as a career, but we’re also looking for a driven problem solver and advocate for the benefit of our end-users.

  • Interface with our client solutions team to identify challenges and gaps in our software as it pertains to current product usage by our clients
  • Research, understand, scope and document insights and problem statements from our end-users for use in future feature development
  • Partake in our solutioning cycle, taking on assignments and product initiatives under the direction of a more senior product manager
  • Collaborate with analysts, designers, developers, and quality assurance engineers on solutioning activities including ideation, design, prototyping, user testing, etc.
  • Write epics and user stories that will guide our development team in not only what to build, but also provide context as to who will be using the various features and why
  • Create artifacts such as process maps and wireframes to communicate interface and workflow needs to our team and clients

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • An interest and/or understanding of basic UX practices and principles
  • A foundation in business requirements analysis
  • Experience with industry tools like Jira, Pivotal Tracker, Confluence, Trello, and more...

  • Are a natural storyteller and love finding ways of describing real human needs and interactions in plain language.
  • Try to put yourself in other people’s shoes and mindsets so you can identify and understand their biggest pain points and greatest delights.
  • Are a perpetual learner and excited to learn about and try out new technologies, processes, and ideas.
  • Take initiative, aren’t afraid to fail, ask thoughtful questions, and constantly seek better ways of working and communicating.
  • Understand organizational goals and business requirements, so we may drive products to meet them
  • Use your problem-solving and critical thinking skills to question assumptions and find better ways to work and communicate.
  • Have a positive yet practical attitude; You are willing to take on any task that might help take one of our products a little further.

Our ideal candidate is going to hold a bachelor’s degree and have some experience in business analysis or working in an agile development environment. We’re a growing company and care very much about creating an amazing work environment with great growth opportunities, and hope that you’ll join us early on and help shape a bright and exciting future for our ambitious company.
